NEW Gasthaus AND VILLA TSHAM ARE OPEN FOR BOOKINGS!

Our Gasthaus has four comfortable Superior double rooms (23 m2) and a Suite for four (48 m2) with a sauna, two bedrooms and a kitchen.

The large windows open up to a beautiful forest landscape and a view of the sky for watching the northern lights. All rooms have their own entrance, bathrooms/toilet, two terraces and air conditioning.

Breakfast is served in the adjacent Hard Trek Café and those staying in double rooms can book their own sauna in the main building. There is also an electric car charging station in the yard and the illuminated Ruka cross country skiing track and bike path run from the corner of the house.

The top-equipped Villa Tsham on the shores of Lake Vuosselijärvi in Saaruanniemi provides a great setting for 8 adults. If you wish, we can deliver breakfast and other catering services to the cottage and take you straight from the yard to unforgettable adventures

Equipment Rentals

We rent Sinisalo winter clothing, low-emission Lynx snowmobiles, Helkama electric fatbikes, Anar and Tubbs snowshoes and OAC sliding snowshoes to conquer the surrounding areas of Ruka. Our equipment and supplies are high-quality, reliable and well-maintained.

Bike rentals always include a cycling helmet, lock, route map and guidance. Snowmobile rentals include two sets of riding gear, a helmet and guidance on how to use the electronic route map.

We also do guided snowshoe tours and bike and snowmobile safaris, ask for a quote for your group!

Hard Trek Café-Restaurant & Catering in Ruka

Our Hard Trek café-restaurant next to the Maston Aition area serves small and large appetites. You can also book breakfast either to be enjoyed on site or to take away.

We also have small roast coffees and a wide selection of beers. Our premises are well suited for private and party events as well as group meals. We are located along the main trails around Ruka, whether you travel by skis, on foot, by sled, ski bus or by car. We also provide catering services to cottages in the Ruka area.
